Tournament format
- Group stage followed by knockout rounds.
- Top group teams qualify for the quarterfinals.
Age eligibility
- Players must meet Master 40+ eligibility.
- Government ID is required for all players.
- Official wristband required after verification.
Team roster
- Maximum roster: 16 players.
- Registered players only. One team per player.
Match format
- 9 vs 9.
- 20-minute halves with a short halftime.
- Unlimited substitutions with referee permission.
- No offside.
Match rules
- FIFA Laws apply unless modified by event rules.
- No throw-ins. Sideline restarts are kick-ins.
- Slide tackles are not allowed.
- Respect opponents, referees, and the game.
Knockout stage
- Tied matches go directly to penalties.
- No extra time unless announced by officials.
Golden boot
- Group-stage goals do not count.
- Quarterfinal onward goals count toward the award.
- The tournament committee verifies final totals.
Waiver
- Official waiver required before participation.
- The waiver is compulsory.
Discipline
- Cards follow the FIFA Laws of the Game.
- A red card means a next-match suspension.
- Misconduct may result in suspension or expulsion.
Equipment
- Matching jerseys with visible numbers required.
- Shin guards are mandatory.

Players are responsible for their own water bottles across both days.

Clean your team area before leaving the field for the next group.
By registering for the 5th DMVYA CUP 2026, teams agree to follow these rules and compete with sportsmanship.
Competition rules.
These apply across the Open category and the Master division for the full weekend.
All matches are 20 minutes each half.
All teams must check in at least 45 minutes before their first match.
A valid roster must be submitted before the registration deadline.
Group standings are determined by points, goal difference, goals scored, head-to-head, then fair play.
Win = 3 points, draw = 1 point, loss = 0 points.
Knockout matches tied at full time proceed directly to penalties unless tournament officials announce otherwise.
Referee decisions are final. Respect for officials, opponents, and spectators is required.
Teams are responsible for matching uniforms and basic safety equipment.
